Basic Meaning: Yiqie liusheshouyin jing
Senses:
1 fasc.; K 672, T 31. Translation by An Shigao 安世高: between the 2nd year of Jianhe 建和 and the 3rd year of Jianning 建寧, Later Han dynasty 後漢 ( 148-170. ). Taishō catalogue reference: T 2151.55.349a19; Nanjō 559; Ono. 1:136b. The original Pāli text is Sabbāsavasutta (MN.2). It is related to the Loujin jing 漏盡經 of the Madhyamâgama 中阿含經26(10), with which it shares much content (but it is a much earlier text), and the Ekôttarâgama 125(40ー6). Since it was translated in the second century, and the Pāli text and variant translations are still extant, its composition can be traced back to very early times BCE. The sermon is given in the state of Kuru 拘留. From seven aspects, the bhikkhus can remove defilements and finally become sages. The seven aspects are, wrong views 見, restraining the six faculties 攝 (control the sense organs), avoidance 避, use 用, endurance 忍, elimination 曉, and (mental) development 行.
