  • Seventh ground; the seventh of the ten bhūmis 十地. Also called 遠行地. Included as part of the path of cultivation 修道位 in Yogâcāra (Skt. sapta-bhūmi, sapta-bhūmika, sapta bhūmayaḥ, saptamī) 〔二障義 HBJ 1.805a1〕 [Charles Muller; source(s): Hirakawa]
  • Seven stages of practices taught in the Yogâcārabhūmi-śāstra that are defined in terms of their relation to the twelve abodes 十二住.
    1. 種性地 Stage of having the seed.
    2. 勝解行地 Stage of practice through devoted interest.
    3. 淨勝意樂地 Stage of pure superior aspiration.
    4. 行正行地 Stage of carrying out correct practices.
    5. 決定地 Stage of determination.
    6. 決定行地 Stage of determined practice.
    7. 到究竟地 Stage of arriving at the ultimate.
