Basic Meaning: seven kinds of ultimate truth
Senses:
(Skt. sapta-vidhaḥ paramârtha) They are the ultimate truth as (1) realm of thought 心境界 (Skt. citta-gocara), (2) realm of cognition 慧境界 (Skt. jñāna-gocara), (3) realm of wisdom 智境界 (Skt. prajñā-gocara), (4) realm of dualistic views 二見境界 (Skt. dṛṣṭi-dvaya-gocara), (5) realm of the transcendence of dualistic views 超二見境界 (Skt. dṛṣṭi-dvayâtikrānta-gocara), (6) realm transcending the buddha-child 超子地境界(Skt. sutabhūmy-anukramaṇa-gocara ), (7) realm personally realized by the tathāgatas 如來自到境界 (Skt. tathāgatasya pratyātma-gati-gocara).
