  • A reference to the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment 三十七品 in one part 一部 of the eighty-fascicle Avataṃsaka 八十華嚴 at nine assemblies held in seven places: at the first assembly six factors 六品 are indicated for 菩提道場; at the second assembly again six factors for 普光明殿; at the third assembly, six factors for 忉利天; at the fourth, four factors for 夜摩天; at the fifth, three factors for 兜率天; at the sixth, one factor for 他化天; at the seventh, eleven factors for 普光明殿; at the eighth, one factor for 普光明殿; at the ninth, one factor for 重閣講堂. As compared with 八十華嚴, the sixty-fascicle Avataṃsaka 六十華嚴 are teaches thirty-four factors of enlightenment 三十四品 at eight assemblies in seven places. Cf. 華嚴經.
