Basic Meaning: three aspects of the truth of arising
Senses:
As taught in the Yogâcāra school based on the hermeneutical principle of the three natures 三性: (1) arising of habit energies 習氣集, referring to the habit energies based on the fabricated nature 遍計所執自性, which attach to self and dharmas; (2) co-arisen arising 等起集, referring to the fact that afflictions and karma 煩惱業 arise in concert; (3) arising based on the inability of thusness to extricate itself 未離繫集 from the hindrances.
