不可思議境

Basic Meaning: inconceivable object

Senses:

  • One thought is neither vertical nor horizontal 不縱不橫 in that it integrates both diachronic and synchronic aspects of experience. As the object of contemplation, the contents of one single thought-moment 一念心 are inconceivable 不可思議 in thoroughly blending elements of reality and illusion 眞妄和合. Any dharma located across the trichiliocosm contains the qualities or 'quiddities' of all other dharmas located across the ten realms 十法界, past, present, and future. [Billy Brewster]
