Basic Meaning: to eat impure fruits
Senses:
Refers to the Vinaya prohibition forbidding bhikṣus from eating fruits that cause intoxication. The Mahāsāṃghika Vinaya 摩訶僧祇律 lists these as 墟邏果, 迦比哆果, 比邏婆果, and 拘陀羅果. Alternatively 不淨菓食.
