Basic Meaning: two kinds of Dharma body
Senses:
The two kinds of Dharma body taught in the Yingluo jing 瓔珞經 are the nature Dharma body 法性身 and response Dharma body 應化法身. The first is seen from the perspective of reality, while the second is a manifestation of various bodies according to the circumstance. The Dharma body of final fruition 果極法身 mentioned later in the same sutra is equivalent to the nature Dharma body.

The two kinds of Dharma body taught in the Jingang borelun 金剛般若論 are the Dharma body of discourse 言說法身 and the Dharma body of realization 證得法身. [Charles Muller; source(s): Nakamura]
The above Dharma body of realization 證得法身 is further distinguished into the Dharma body of the marks of cognition 智相法身 and the Dharma body of the marks of merit 福相法身. [Charles Muller; source(s): Nakamura]
As taught in the Huayanjing shu 華嚴經疏 and the Jin guangming jing 金光明經, there are the Dharma body of principle 理法身 and the Dharma body of knowledge 智法身. The Dharma body of the Dharma nature 法性法身 and the Dharma body of skill-in-means 方便法身. I.e., the Dharma body as it is in reality, and the Dharma body as it transforms according to the capacities of sentient beings.
