Basic Meaning: view of attachment to an inherently existent self
Senses:
One of the two kinds of delusive reifications, less subtle than that of the reification of distinct phenomena 法我見. In the case of reification of phenomena, cognition merely fabricates entities; in the case of attachment to self, the entities are also taken to be autonomous and independent.

[Charles Muller; source(s): Ui, Nakamura, Yokoi]
In some contexts, 我見 refers specifically to a view of self as the reified view of the five aggregates, while 人見 refers to a sense of subjectivity derived therefrom. See 我人四相.
