Basic Meaning: Trailokyavijaya
Senses:
Also called Vajrahūṃkara 金剛吽迦羅. A wrathful figure in the Court of the *Vidyādhara 持明院 in the Garbhadhātu maṇḍala 胎藏界曼荼羅 in which he is separate from the related Vajrahūṃkara 降三世明王. Blue-black in color 靑黑色. Three-eyed. His left hand holds a three-pronged mallet 三鈷杵. His right hand holds a three-pronged lance 三鈷戟. The aged appearance of this diety represents the subjugation of the three poisons 三毒 and the attainment of excellent benefits 勝利. The three-pronged items in his hands represents the conquest of obstacles via the workings of wisdom of body 身, speech 口 and mind 意. Seed syllables: haḥ, ho. Mudrā: outer five-pronged vajra mudrā 外五鈷印. Mantra: namaḥ samantavajrāṇāṃ ha ha ha vismaye sarvatathāgataviṣayasambhava trailokyavijaya hūṃ jaḥ svāhā.
