Basic Meaning: Big Dipper maṇḍala

Senses:

  • A maṇḍala based on the seven central stars of the Big Dipper 北斗, drawn with celestial personifications of six stars surrounding a larger central figure 一字金輪. There are directional maṇḍala and round maṇḍala versions.
