Basic Meaning: Treatise on the Twelve Limbs of Dependent Arising
Senses:
The Shier yinyuan lun. (Skt. *Pratītyasamutpāda-śāstra). 1 fascicle, K 646, T 1651, by Śuddhamati 淨意. Translation by Bodhiruci 菩提流支 between the 1st year of Yongping 永平, Northern Wei dynasty 北魏 and the 2nd year of Tianping 天平, Eastern Wei dynasty 東魏 (508–535).1 Nanjō 1211; Ono. 5:181a. It is a treatise that explains the twelve limbs of dependent arising 十二因緣. This text starts with six and a half verses, followed by a prose section consisting of questions and answers.
