chapter of the Huayan jing 華嚴經 which covers many topics, such as the eight consciousnesses, nescience, the three bodies 三身 of the Buddha, the three cumulative rules of discipline, the cause and effect aspects of Buddhahood, etc. The Chinese Dilun school 地論宗 was established based on this treatise, and the Huayan 華嚴宗 school used it to explain many of its teachings.
