Basic Meaning: Teaching Records of the Chan Master Yuanwu Foguo
Senses:
Yuanwu Foguo chanshi yulu. T 1997; 20 fasc. Written by Yuanwu Keqin 圓悟克勤 in the Song Dynasty, edited by Huqiu Shaolong 虎丘紹隆 and others. It is also found with the names 圜悟佛果禪師語錄, 圜悟語錄, and 佛果圜悟禪師語錄. Compiled two years before the death of Master Yuanwu, in 1133. It is a collection of various quotations from the masterʼs life, such as his teachings, sermons, general instructions, Dharma words, recitations, chants, verses, praises, miscellaneous writings, and Buddhist works.
