  • A circular maṇḍala with twenty-four images prepared for the practice of the Vaipulya (repentance) Samādhi. According to the Fangdeng chanfa, these twenty-four figures are the ten Buddhas (of the ten directions), the ten Buddha-kings, the bodhisattva Puṣpakūṭa, the monk 'Roaring Thunder,' the mahā tanchi dhāraṇī (taught in the sutra), and Śāriputra.
