Basic Meaning: Dazhi chanshi jiesong

  • 1 fasc. A collection of 229 verses by Baizhang Huaihai 百丈懷海 (720–814; aka 大智禪師) compiled by Guangyan 光嚴 and other disciples of Baizhang. This work was first published in China in the period of the northern and southern dynasties 南北朝 (420–589) and then republished in Japan in 1642 (Kan'ei 寛永 year 19).
