Basic Meaning: Ratnasaṃbhava
Senses:
(Lit. Jewel-born Buddha)—one of the five wisdom 五智如來 (五佛), the central figure in the southern vajragarbha maṇḍala 金剛界曼茶羅, the realm of Subhūti on his becoming Buddha. He is associated with the wisdom of equality in nature 平等性智. He has a golden-hued body, had a corner of his robe clenched in his fist, with his right hand doing the varada mudra 施願印. Also written as 寶生如來 and 寶生, and transliterated as 羅憺曩三婆縛. Rin chen 'byung ldan
