The 無記 in 威儀無記 appears to be an interpolation by Paramârtha 眞諦 into the auto-commentary on verse 2.38 of Abhidharmakośa. 〔阿毘達磨倶舍釋論 T 1559.29.181c26〕 For the Sanskrit text of Vasubandhuʼs 世親 auto-commentary where this term appears, see Pradhan (1967, 64). Xuanzang renders the same terminology śailpasthânikasya as 工巧處. 〔阿毘達磨倶舍論 T 1558.29.23a28〕 . Pradhan, Prahlad, ed. 1967. Abhidharmakośa(bhāṣyam). Patna: K.P.
