Senses:
(1207–1298. ); also known as 心地房, 無本覺心, 法燈圓明國師. Rinzai Monk of the Kamakura period who traveled to China between 1249 and 1254. Founder of the Hōttō Branch 法燈派, one of the twenty-four transmissions of Zen 禪宗二十四流 that reached Japan. Also studied the esoteric teachings at Mount Kōya.
