Basic Meaning: the extent of the sphere of the Buddha
Senses:
The ocean-like true nature of the effect aspect. Ocean is a metaphor for great depth and breadth. Nature refers to that which is unchanging, whether in the station of Buddhahood or sentient being. The time of practice is called cause 因, and the awakening of enlightenment is called fruit 果 (guo).
