Basic Meaning: gathering causes
Senses:
One of the ten causes 十因 taught in the Yogâcārabhūmi-śāstra. Causation that occurs depending on the six bases of instantaneous cessation, objective realms, faculties, activity, heroic performance, and reality. Results are produced based upon the gathering of the cognition of various characteristics beyond the purview of the seeds (Skt. parigraha-hetu; Tib. yongs su 'dzin pa'i rgyu)
