Basic Meaning: accurate attention
Senses:
Correct thought; accurate recollection, mindfulness. The seventh of the items of the Eightfold Path 八正道; looking on the body and the spirit in such a way as to remain ardent, self-possessed, and mindful, having overcome both hankering and dejection. Continual mindfulness without lapse. To continually keep (something) in mind. To be removed from evil thought and be mindful of the Buddha-way.
