法身偈

Basic Meaning: Verse on the Dharma-body

Senses:

  • The verse spoken by Śāriputra in the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-śāstra 大智度論 on the dharmakāya 法身 or the verse on dependent arising 緣起. Of the four noble truths 四諦, the first three are dealt with in this verse. Also called 法舍利, 法頌舍利, 法身舍利偈. 〔御請來目錄 T 2161.55.1063c19〕 [Charles Muller; source(s): JEBD]
