(1177–1249); also commonly referred to as either Wuzhun 無準 or Shifan 師範. A Chinese monk of the Linji school 臨濟宗 during the Southern Song 南宋. He trained under Fozhao Deguang 佛照德光 and Poan Zuxian 破菴祖先 and eventually took up residence on Mt. Jìngshān 徑山, where he took the Chan master title 禪師號 Fojian 佛鑑. He was a mentor of the Japanese monk Enni Ben'en 圓爾辨圓, who subsequently transmitted Wuzhunʼs methods in Japan, where he founded Tōfukuji.
