Basic Meaning: ground of burning wisdom

Senses:

  • The fourth of the ten grounds 十地 in the bodhisattva path. At this level, one has consummated the virtue of the perfection of effort, resulting in the destruction of the affliction in the path of cultivation, thus producing wisdom (Skt. arciṣmati, arciṣmatī bhūmiḥ; Tib.
