Basic Meaning: five effects in the present
Senses:
When the twelve links of dependent arising 十二因緣 are analyzed according to the three aspects of time, the five of consciousness 識, name-and-form 名色, the six sense bases 六入, 觸, and sensation 受 are seen as the effects of past activity based on nescience 無明 that are manifested in the present. Mochizuki/FGD explain each of these in detail.
