Basic Meaning: Chijue chanshi yulu

Senses:

  • The records of the sayings of Chan Master Daochong 道冲 (1169–1250); 2 fasc. X 1376. This work was compiled by the disciples of Daochong, including Zhihuo 智活. The first fascicle contains dharma hall talks 上堂語要, general sermons 普說, dharma-talks 法語, and hymns of praise/gāthā 讚偈頌, etc. that were given at temples such as Baoenguangxiaosi 報恩光孝寺, Taipingxingguosi 太平興國寺, Xuefengchongshengsi 雪峰崇聖寺, Tiantongjingdesi 天童景德寺, Lingyinsi 靈隱寺, Fahuasi 法華寺, and Xingshengwanshousi 興聖萬壽寺.
