Basic Meaning: Chijue chanshi yulu
Senses:
The records of the sayings of Chan Master Daochong 道冲 (1169–1250); 2 fasc. X 1376. This work was compiled by the disciples of Daochong, including Zhihuo 智活. The first fascicle contains dharma hall talks 上堂語要, general sermons 普說, dharma-talks 法語, and hymns of praise/gāthā 讚偈頌, etc. that were given at temples such as Baoenguangxiaosi 報恩光孝寺, Taipingxingguosi 太平興國寺, Xuefengchongshengsi 雪峰崇聖寺, Tiantongjingdesi 天童景德寺, Lingyinsi 靈隱寺, Fahuasi 法華寺, and Xingshengwanshousi 興聖萬壽寺. The second fascicle contains instructions on the dharma taken from letters to scholars, etc., and other contents (for more details see Zengaku daijiten).
