Basic Meaning: Chanyu waiji
Senses:
(8 fasc.) A compilation of verses written by Yongjue Yuanxian 永覺元賢 (1578–1657), edited by his disciple Taichong Daoshun 太沖道順 (d.u.), and published in 1643. This work was originally part of the Yongjue heshang guanglu 永覺和尙廣錄 before being published separately. Extant examples include a woodblock version based on the original that was printed by Inpō 隱峰 (d.u.) in Japan in 1648 and an annotated version, under the title Zenyo geshū shitsujitsu 禪餘外集質實, published in 1677 by Renzan Kōeki 連山交易 (1635–1694).
