Basic Meaning: oneʼs own negative example
Senses:
According to the conventions of Buddhist logic 因明, an example whose meaning is categorically different from that asserted in the thesis. If this negative example is accepted by oneʼs adversary 敵, but not by the proponent 立論者, then it is called
'oneʼs own negative example.'
