  • The continent west of Sumeru, Godānīya, or Avaragodānīya, Aparagodāna, Godāna; Godhanya, 'western-cattle-giving,' where cattle 牛 are the medium of exchange, possibly referring to the 'pecuniary' barter of the northwest.
