Basic Meaning: dismissal of the summer retreat

Senses:

  • The dismissing of the summer retreat; also 解制. The last day of the rainy season or of periods of varṣa-residence, viz. the fifteenth day of the seventh month, on which the varṣa meeting 安居 period of training is terminated.
