說道沙門

Basic Meaning: monk who expounds the Way

Senses:

  • The second of the four kinds of śramaṇas 四沙門 (Skt. mārga-deśika). A monk who is always teaching the eightfold path 八正道 and so forth to others. Also called 說道沙門.
