Basic Meaning: Sutra on the Root of All Phenomena
Senses:
The Zhufa ben jing. 1 fasc., K 666, T 59. Translation by Zhi Qian 支謙 (see K.665).
Nanjō 590; Ono. 5:280c. The Buddha gives a lecture to the monks regarding the source of all phenomena. Desire 欲 is the root 本 of all phenomena 諸法, and arisen 習 through contact 更, converging 同趣 in feeling 痛, born 有 in attention 念. Thinking 思惟 is the bright way 明道, concentration 三昧 is the leader, wisdom 智慧 is the highest 最上, liberation 解脫 is the firmness 牢固 and nirvana 涅槃 is the final destination 畢竟.
