Basic Meaning: Evolution of Consciousness

Senses:

  • The Zhuanshi lun; one fascicle T 1587.31.61c1–63c (Skt. *Pravṛtti-vijñāna-śāstra). Attributed to Vasubandhu 世親, originally translated by Paramârtha 眞諦 together with the Xianshi lun 顯識論 (T 1618) as part of the nonextant Wuxiang lun 無相論. Paramârthaʼs prose interpretation of the Triṃśikā 唯識三十論頌 (T 1586). Also close in content to the Xianyang lun 顯揚論. Translated into English by Diana Paul.
