Basic Meaning: results of knowing

Senses:

  • The recipient of the knowledge gained through cognitive function. In East Asian Yogâcāra 唯識, this is one of three aspects of knowing 三量, with the other two being the knowing agent (subjective mind) 能量 and the known object 所量.
