Basic Meaning: Vajrarāga bodhisattva

Senses:

  • One of the sixteen great bodhisattvas of the Vajradhātu 十六大菩薩, included in the group of Akṣobhya Buddha 阿閦佛; one of the thirty-seven honored beings 三十七尊 that appear in the Vajradhātu maṇḍala 金剛界.   Tib. Rdo-rjeḥi; also seen rendered as 金剛弓, considered as one of the four intimate bodhisattvas 四親近菩薩.
