Senses:
(d.u.) A Chinese monk of unknown lineage who was born in the Jin period 金代 in Anzhou 安州 (Hebei 河北 province) with the surname Hao 郝. Cognomens include Bohun 伯昏 and Le Zhenzi 樂眞子. He received the full precepts under Xianglin Jing 香林淨 (d.u.) before inheriting the Dharma of Shengjing Pu 勝靜普 (d.u.). He later resided at Shaolinsi 少林寺 in Henan where he composed the Chanyuan mengqiu 禪苑蒙求 (3 fasc.), which was published in 1225. [Stefan Grace; source(s): ZGDJT, FGD]
