Senses:

  • Transliteration of the Sanskrit, meaning a mass or fetus. A piece of flesh; the third of the five or eight phases of the human fetus. The embryo at the third stage of development, i.e. the coagulating stage or the third week after conception. (Pāli pesi; Tib. ltar ltar po). See 胎內五位, 八位胎藏.
