Basic Meaning: moral purity via abstinence
Senses:
Purity of precepts via separation from negative acts such as killing and other misdeeds. Designation for one of the three sets of pure precepts 三聚淨戒 in the Daśabhūmikasūtra-śāstra 十地經論.
