雪竇明覺禪師語錄

Basic Meaning: Xuedou Mingjue chanshi yulu

Senses:

  • (6 fasc.) Commonly known by its shorter title 明覺禪師語錄. A work recording the sayings of Xuedou Zhongxian 雪竇重顯 (980–1052), compiled by his disciples Weiyi 惟益, Wenzhen 文軫, Yuanying 圓應, Wenzheng 文政, Yuanchen 遠塵, Yuncheng 允誠, and Zihuan 子環. The introduction is dated 1066. It appears that the fascicles 'Puquanji'  瀑泉集 (fasc. 4) and 'Zuyingji'  祖英集 (fasc. 5–6) were published when Xuedou was still alive.
