The lotus is likened to the human heart, with the Vairocana 大日 at its center. The four buddhas are North: Divyadundubhimeganirghoṣa 天鼓雷音 (Akṣobhya), East: Ratnaketu 寶幢, South: Praphullana 開敷華王 (or Saṃkusumitarāja); West: Amitâbha 無量壽.
