Ock Bae Chun

Ock Bae Chun is presently a researcher at the International Association For Buddhist Thought and Culture at Dongguk University in Seoul, where he is working primarily at translating Korean Buddhist materials into English. He studied Buddhism in the graduate school of Dongguk University, with his main area of research being Korean Seon, and is now collaborating in the compilation of The Korean Seon Buddhism Dictionary with professor Hyewon Sunim, in the department of Seon Studies at Dongguk University. He is contributing to the DDB by proofreading Korean pronunciation information, editing pre-existent entry, in addition to adding over 1,000 new entries related to Korean and East Asian Buddhism.
