Jonathan Pettit


Jonathan Pettit is a dual Ph.D. candidate (Religious Studies and Chinese) at Indiana University. He specializes in the study of medieval Daoist and Buddhist temple inscriptions, and concentrates on the way scriptural and psalmic traditions inform the authors of this texts. Aside from his dissertation research on epigraphic materials, he is also researches various issues of early prajñā-pāramitā literature and religious garden spaces. His first entry in the DDB was for the Guāngzàn jīng 光讚經 (T 222). [2008/05/26]
