- Grudge, resentment. One of the lesser afflictions 小煩惱地法 listed in the Abhidharmakośa-bhāṣya; one of the twenty secondary afflictions (隨煩惱) in Yogâcāra. The mental action of suffering due to the continual re-arising of the thought of a prior matter that aroused anger. Derived from the factor of ill will 瞋. Also seen expressed as 恨心, 怨恨, and 恨怒.
